“Discovering Sake” Workshop
“Discovering Sake” Workshop
Immerse yourself in the world of Sake ( a Japanese alcoholic drink made from rice) and its traditions with international Sake speaker and sommelier, Kuniko Fujita.
During our workshop, “Madame Saké” will present an introduction to the history and culture of sake, ingredients, production and tasting methods, labeling, pairings, etc.
Once imbued with new knowledge, you will be invited to taste a diverse selection of 5 sakes, all accompanied by small Japanese dishes carefully prepared by Japanese chef Tomokazu Murakami of Atelier TM.
Ms. Kuniko Fujita, better known as Madame Saké in Quebec, holds a diploma as a speaker/educator and an international sake sommelier (SSI). She organizes tastings and workshops, provides training to professionals and enthusiasts, and participates in corporate events and various festivals. She is also a consultant to restaurateurs.
